Mr. Deppe’s practice is focused on assisting clients with development and enforcement of intellectual property. Jon has experience with drafting, filing, and prosecuting patent applications in a variety of mechanical and software related technical fields including, for example, medical devices, hospital management systems, pet products, telecommunication, digital image processing and analysis, mobile device technology, and other computer software applications. Mr. Deppe also helps to leverage intellectual property to achieve client goals with respect to licensing and enforcement. Mr. Deppe also provides counsel in relation to patent defense including freedom to operate searching and opinions. Mr. Deppe also provides assistance to clients related to strategic development and protection of domestic and foreign trademarks.
Mr. Deppe has prior industry experience as a technical manager and engineer at Anheuser-Busch, Inc., where he was involved with projects that included design and modification of control systems, electromechanical packaging systems, and high-speed automation projects. Additionally, at Colorado State University, Mr. Deppe was involved in research and implementation of alternative fuel technologies.
