Thomas R. MarshMr. Marsh works with established companies and start-up ventures to protect their ideas and identities as intellectual property (IP), and to assess the IP positions of others. His practice encompasses patent securement, freedom-to-operate analysis, IP audits and portfolio management, trademark prosecution, and IP aspects of business transactions, including acquisition, license, research and teaming agreements. For many clients his practice entails working closely with corporate and/or in-house counsel. Mr. Marsh has represented clients across a spectrum of technical fields, including medical devices, communications, imaging, spectroscopy, software and production processes/equipment.
