Jonathon A. Szumny

Mr. Szumny is a registered patent attorney whose practice focuses on the preparation and prosecution of patents in the mechanical, medical device and computer-related arts for individual inventors, start-up companies, and established organizations. His practice also includes conducting patentability searches, preparing related search result memorandums, drafting nondisclosure agreements, and prosecuting trademark applications. Mr. Szumny has significant prior experience as a primary examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) providing him with intimate knowledge of the inner-workings of the USPTO which he uses to his clients' benefit when interacting with Examiners and determining appropriate courses of action in relation to USPTO correspondence.
