Mr. Dockery’s practice is focused on working closely with clients to protect, manage and exploit their intellectual property assets, and to minimize the risks that can be associated with the exploitation of their technologies. He has worked with a diverse client base including Fortune 500 companies, start-up companies and independent inventors. Mr. Dockery has worked with clients in a variety of technical disciplines, including inorganic chemical and material manufacture, coal gasification, fuel cells, extractive metallurgy, waste remediation, magnetic recording and nanotechnology, as well as computer software applications. In addition, Mr. Dockery also has significant experience negotiating and preparing technology development and licensing agreements, working with government contracting matters and preparing and obtaining federal trademark registrations.
